NEW PRESIDENCY FOR LEADERS CLUB FRANCE

During its last General Assembly, Leaders Club France appointed Nicolas Riché (CEO of Columbus Café / A la carte) as its new President and Jonathan Jablonksi as Vice President for the next 2 years.
Leaders Club France restructured its governance to guarantee a smooth transition and to strengthen Leaders Club’s core values: professional trendwatching, innovation and passion in the foodservice and restaurant world.
Congratulations to the incoming President and Thanks to Vincent Mourre for his previous mandate!

LEADERS CLUB RUSSIA: AWARDS 2016

Leaders Club Russia organised in Moscow the 11th edition of Leaders Club Russia Awards.

The traditional ceremony gathered 560 participants, who voted for the 12 nominees shortlisted for the Awards. And the winners are:

Golden Palm 2016: #SibirSibir (Novossibirsk), by Denis Ivanov. Siberian nouvelle cuisine.

Silver Palm 2016: Chiсken Run (Moscow), by Mikhail Gordeev et Marc Statsenko. Chicken based chef signed fast casual cuisine from Kalouga region.

Bronze Palm 2016: Syrovarnia (Moscow), by Arkady Novikov. Own dairy production, with cheeses to taste on the spot or to take away.

LEADERS CLUB INTERNATIONAL SUPPORTS RISTORAZIONE 2016

Leaders Club International Services is honoured to support, together with other major Italian and International associations, the 9th edition of Ristorazione 2016, the bi-annual seminar organised by the Italian B2B foodservice magazine Ristorando, that will take place in Milan on the 6th and 7th October.

The event will gather the leading stakeholders of the Italian catering and foodservice scene.

International networking and foodservice events organisation clearly bring together Leaders Club International and Ristorando’s activities.

21st EDITION OF FRENCH AWARDS

The 21st edition of the French Awards took place on Monday  7th March 2016 during the Omnivore World Tour at the Maison de la Mutualité in Paris. The starred chef Jean François Piège delivered the Leaders Club France Awards in front of an audience of 1000 people to the 3 following restaurant concepts:

  • Golden Palm 2016: A. Noste (Paris), by Julien Duboué
  • Silver Palm 2016: Duck Me (Toulouse), by Arthur Arlet
  • Bronze Palm 2016: Juste (Paris), by Romain Marguerie de Rotrou et Romain Coué

Leaders Club France gave a honour palm to the chef Jean François Piège for his new restaurant Clover, and 2 supplementary Awards to the international speakesy Experimental Group and the Winstub master Cédric Moulot

8th EDITION OF INTERNATIONAL LEADERS CLUB AWARDS: AND THE WINNER IS…

The 8th edition of International Leaders Club Awards took place on Tuesday 26th January 2016 during Sirha Geneva exhibition, where international foodservice professionals and the audience voted for their 3 favourite restaurant concepts among the 10 nominees coming from 7 countries.

The 3 following restaurant concepts were awarded:

  • International Golden Palm 2016: Bun Bao (Germany), by Ahn Vu Dang
  • International Silver Palm 2016: Cook’kareku (Russia), by Alexander Rappoport
  • International Bronze Palm 2016: Persillé – Maison de viande (France), by Maxence de Warren and David Lebreton

Leaders Club Germany organized the 14th edition of Leaders Club Germany Awards at Altes Kesselhaus, a spectacular industrial building.

The Awards ceremony hosted 300 participants, who voted for 6 nominees, preselected by Leaders Club Germany and a board of experts among 50 restaurant candidates.

The 6 finalists were: Bun Bao (Berlin), Frittenwerk (Duesseldorf), Joseph Baeckerei Patisserie Bistro (Wien), Laura’s Deli (Duesseldorf), OhJulia (Munich), What’s Pizza (Düsseldorf).

The audience finally awarded the 3 following restaurant concepts:

FIRST UKRAINIAN AWARDS: GOLDEN PALM TO LYUBIMI DYADYA

Leaders Club Ukraine organized for the first time its national Awards at the Kiev Academy of Media Arts, during the closing ceremony of RestoPraktiki, a 3 days foodservice international forum, which is held twice a year in Ukraine.

The Awards ceremony hosted 150 participants, who voted for 12 nominees, preselected by Leaders Club Ukraine and a board of experts from mid-July to mid-September among 51 restaurant candidates.

The 12 finalists were : Bodega 2K (Odessa), Vegano Hooligano (Kiev), The BURGER (Kiev), Karkas (Kiev), FABBRICA (Ivano-Frankivsk), Hryak (Chernihiv), Kiflik (Kiev), Ulichnaya Eda (Kiev), Parovoz SpeakEasy (Kiev), Lisopylka brewery (Kiev), Pravda Beer Theatre (Lviv), Lyubimy Dyadya (Kiev).

The Leaders Club International is happy to welcome Leaders Club Ukraine among us! A warm welcome to its President, Igor Sukhomlyn, to its managing partner, Aurora Ohorodnyk and to the international forum RestoPraktiki.
A word from the President: “The story began in 2012 at the Palm Awards in Moscow, when RestoPraktiki met Daniel Majonchi and the first idea of Leaders Club Ukraine came up. Then in 2013 Sirha Moskow, Ukraine was represented by four nominees: Double Decker restaurant, Centaur Ukraine, Ohota na ovets and Tavernetta. The last one won. We are proud today to organize our first Palm Awards!”
Leaders Club Ukraine will organize its first Palm Awards on 1st October 2015 in Kiev.

The Leaders Club International is pleased to welcome Jürgen Strasser as its new President. Jürgen lives in Munich. His long experience in the gastronomy industry, his presidency in the Leaders Club Germany in its start, his cultural and language skills as well as his openness are a great enrichment for the Leaders Club International. We wish Jürgen success and satisfaction in his new position.
